You want to see how things were going from the husband\u2019s point of view —

\nthere stands the wife
\ngripping herself at the elbows and facing the husband.
\nNot tears he is saying, not tears again. But still they fall.
\nShe is watching him.
\nI\u2019m sorry he says. Do you believe me.
\nWatching.
\nI never wanted to harm you.
\nWatching.
\nThis is banal. It\u2019s like Beckett. Say something!
\nI believe<\/p>\n

your taxi is here she said.
\nHe looked down at the street. She was right. It stung him,
